FOLK LEGACY TRIO

Three celebrated musicians from iconic folk groups have come together to form the Folk Legacy Trio, performing timeless hits from the golden age of folk music, spanning the 1950s through the mid-1970s. With decades of combined experience, these accomplished artists deliver vocal and instrumental mastery that continues to captivate audiences nationwide.

Performing a repertoire they call “The Great American Folksong Book™,” the trio's rich, vibrant harmonies revive the beloved classics of artists like Peter, Paul & Mary, The Kingston Trio, Gordon Lightfoot, Simon & Garfunkel, The New Christy Minstrels, Bob Dylan, and many more.

Meet the members:

George Grove — Spent 41 years with The Kingston Trio

Rick Dougherty — Formerly of The Limeliters and The Kingston Trio for 25 years

Jerry Siggins — Lead singer with the legendary doo-wop group The Diamonds for 27 years

Though together for less than a year, their exceptional performances quickly garnered attention — including a cover feature in The Vegas Voice and sold-out shows in Las Vegas.

With a loyal following carried over from their previous groups, the Folk Legacy Trio has swiftly built a strong fan base eager to embrace their new chapter.

Blending heartfelt storytelling, wit, and flawless harmonies, their performances celebrate the very best of the folk era — a nostalgic, high-energy experience that brings audiences to their feet.

Time both flies by and stands still when being entertained by artists of this level of excellence. This is one of those rare groups that could sing the phone book…and there would be something worthy to listen to.

— Steve Preston — Director, Writing Center, Darton State College, Albany, GA

There are few musicians today that have been charged with saving a genre of music. There are fewer yet that have the ability to do so. George, Rick and Jerry are accomplished in every facet of vocal performance and entertainment. With the recent resurgence of 'new folk' it is only fitting that the Folk Legacy Trio be formed as the foundation to a new generation of folk lovers.

— Bob Poynton — The Lettermen
