MOZART IN THE KNOBS presents
DON GIOVANNI
Music by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart
Libretto by Lorenzo Da Ponte
Alexandra Enyart, conductor

Mozart in the Knobs is a music festival that provides a rich performance experience to fellows in a way that eliminates access issues. The festival gives fellows a chance to play alongside established musicians from across the globe. Festival organizers wanted to ensure the festival concluded with a BANG, and nothing says “Season-Finale” like an opera!

Be seduced by Mozart’s classic masterpiece, Don Giovanni, a tale about a serial womanizer who cares for nothing but fulfilling his own desires. Come laugh and cry with us as Mozart in the Knobs faculty and fellows put on their rendition of this timeless tale. Mozart’s score for Don Giovanni teems with the elegance and grace that marks his entire output, which is evident from the first measures of the ravishing overture. This combination of musical refinement and extraordinary dramatic expression makes Don Giovanni one of the longest enduring and universally beloved works in the standard repertoire.
