Ambition, prophecy, and betrayal collide in William Shakespeare’s Macbeth, a gripping tragedy of power, paranoia, and the devastating cost of unchecked desire. When a victorious Scottish general hears a mysterious prediction that he will one day become king, the promise of greatness awakens a hunger he cannot control.

The IU Southeast Theatre Department presents a fast-moving, 70-minute adaptation by Michael Don Bahr, Executive Producer of the Utah Shakespeare Festival and former Director of Education at the festival.
