The Ogle Center at IU Southeast Announces Exciting 2025-2026 Season Lineup

Longtime Supporter Patty Cress Underwrites Season

NEW ALBANY, Ind. (July 16, 2025) —The Paul W. Ogle Cultural and Community Center at Indiana University Southeast is pleased to unveil its highly anticipated 2025–2026 season, underwritten by longtime supporter Patty Cress. This year’s The Ogle Center Presents series promises an unforgettable journey through music, theater, and cultural celebration, featuring a dynamic mix of internationally acclaimed performers and beloved regional favorites.

In addition to its signature series, the Ogle Center will once again host the Louisville Orchestra’s popular NightLites series, along with performances by the IU Southeast Music Department and Theatre Department.

The season launches on August 12 with a performance by the Grammy-nominated British vocal ensemble VOCES8, who will be joined by the IU Southeast Choirs. The season continues with the high-energy tribute The Piano Men starring Jim Witter, celebrating the music of Billy Joel and Elton John; the timeless charm of Salute to the Rat Pack and Friends starring Tyler Bliss, Corwyn Hodge, and Blake Graham; and the nostalgic harmonies of the Folk Legacy Trio — George Grove (The Kingston Trio), Rick Dougherty (The Limeliters, The Kingston Trio), and Jerry Siggins (The Diamonds).

Holiday traditions return with the heartwarming Holiday Pops concert featuring the musicians of IU Southeast in December, while the legendary Canadian Brass takes the stage with the IU Southeast Concert Band on Valentine’s Day. The season concludes in March with the vibrant and family-friendly Celtic Angels Ireland, a celebration of Irish music, dance, and culture.

“This season is a celebration of excellence, tradition, and discovery,” said Kirk Randolph, Director of the Ogle Center. “Whether you're a longtime patron or new to the magic of live performance, there's something here to inspire and delight.”

Tickets are on sale now at oglecenter.com. In-person purchases are available by appointment only. To schedule, email oglemail@iu.edu or call (812) 941-2525.

A Legacy of Support and Inspiration

The 2025–2026 season is made possible through the generous support of Patty Cress, who, along with her late husband Hugh, has been a pillar of the arts community in Southern Indiana for decades. From their early days as volunteers to becoming philanthropic leaders, the Cresses have exemplified a deep commitment to the transformative power of the arts.

In 2018, the Ogle Center lobby was named the Hugh and Patty Cress Lobby in recognition of their enduring contributions. Today, Patty continues to honor their shared legacy by underwriting this season and supporting educational opportunities for students. “Patty’s generosity—and the generosity of so many like her—ensures that the Ogle Center remains a vibrant cultural hub for our region,” said Randolph. “Her belief in ‘giving while living’ not only keeps ticket prices accessible, but also creates meaningful connections between artists, students, and our community. We are deeply grateful for her vision and leadership.”
